What is the Cochrane Breast Cancer Specialised Register?
The Specialised Register is a continuously growing database of randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and controlled clinical trials (CCTs) relevant to breast cancer. A detailed search strategy has been developed to assist identification of published and unpublished trials relevant to breast cancer to be incorporated into the Register. Details of these search strategies can be found here.
Searches and screening of RCTs and CCTs are conducted by the Cochrane Breast Cancer Group's Editorial Base. We search a variety of sources including MEDLINE, EMBASE, ASCO, SABCS and CENTRAL.
Who has access to the Specialised Register?
All RCTs and CCTs from the Specialised Register are uploaded in the The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) database.
