The Cochrane Breast Cancer Group is committed to the development of evidence relating to the prevention, early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

The group was registered as a Collaborative Review Group with The Cochrane Collaboration in September 1996. Its activities are coordinated by an international team of editors and an editorial base located at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, The University of Sydney, Australia.
