What's involved in doing a Cochrane (systematic) Review?

The process involves 3 main steps:

1. Formulating and submitting details of a proposed topic through the central Editorial Manager site. Before submitting a proposed topic, please check that the topic does not overlap with our registered Titles, Protocols or Reviews. The Cochrane Breast Cancer Group accepts topics covering interventions, prognosis studies and diagnostic test accuracy reviews.

Prospective authors can now propose Cochrane review topics on our new central Editorial Manager site. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please follow the instructions outlined on information for prospective authorsProposals will be assessed by clinical and methods experts. If the senior editors are interested in your prospoal, we will invite you to submit a full proposal. Prospective authors can log in at any time to see the status of your submission. If you have any questions, please contact Cochrane Support.
